Vaultex

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Vaultex("we", "us") handles personal data when you use vaultex.fun (the "Platform"). Vaultex is a non-custodial blockchain interface and is designed to collect as little personal data as possible. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Vaultex is the data controller for the limited off-chain data described below.

1. What we collect

  • Wallet address — a public blockchain identifier used to display your balances, holdings, and activity, and to attribute the content you post.
  • Profile data you provide — optional username, bio, avatar, and social links.
  • User content — comments, likes, and token metadata (name, ticker, image, description) you submit.
  • Technical data — IP address, approximate region, browser/device type, and basic usage analytics, used for security, abuse prevention, geographic restrictions, and improving the Platform.
  • Cookies / local storage — to remember settings such as sidebar state, trade preferences, theme, and a comment-session token. See section 7.

2. What we do NOT collect

We never collect your private keys, seed phrase, government ID, or payment-card details, and we do not require you to create an account with a name or email to trade. All transactions are signed in your own wallet. We do not perform identity (KYC) checks because we do not custody assets — though we may screen against sanctions lists and block access where legally required.

3. Legal bases (GDPR)

We process off-chain personal data on these bases:

  • Legitimate interests — operating, securing, and improving the Platform and preventing abuse;
  • Consent — for non-essential cookies/analytics, where required (you can withdraw it at any time);
  • Legal obligation — complying with applicable law, including sanctions screening.

4. How we use data

To operate and secure the Platform, display profiles and activity, show and moderate user content, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms, restrict access in prohibited jurisdictions, and comply with law. We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.

5. Public blockchain data

Tokens you create and transactions you make are recorded permanently and publicly on the Solana blockchain. This on-chain data is outside our control — we cannot edit, delete, or anonymise it, and your wallet activity may be visible to anyone and linked across services.

6. Service providers (processors)

We share limited data with providers that help us run the Platform, who process it on our behalf under their own terms — for example hosting and serverless infrastructure (e.g. Vercel), our database (e.g. Supabase), blockchain RPC and data providers, and basic analytics. We use reputable providers and limit data to what is necessary. If Vaultex is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, off-chain data may be transferred to the successor, subject to this Policy.

7. Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies/local storage to make the Platform work (e.g. remembering settings and your comment-session token) and, where applicable, minimal analytics. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling essential storage may break parts of the Platform. A cookie notice is shown on first visit where required.

8. Data retention

We keep off-chain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or anonymise it. Profiles and content persist while your wallet remains active on the Platform. On-chain data is permanent and cannot be deleted by us.

9. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision) as required by GDPR.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your off-chain personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. Note that rights relating to on-chain data cannot be fulfilled because that data is not within our control.

11. Children

The Platform is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

12. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect off-chain data. No system is perfectly secure, and you remain responsible for the security of your own wallet and devices.

13. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes take effect when posted, with the "Last updated" date revised.
