What is an Anti-Rug Score?
Every Solana coin already tells you almost everything about itself. Who holds it, where their wallets got their money, whether more tokens can still be printed, and what the person who created it has launched before. It is all public β it is just spread across a blockchain in a form nobody reads before clicking buy.
An Anti-Rug Score is that data collapsed into one number between 0 and 100, so the check takes a second instead of an afternoon.
What the score reads
Holder concentration
How much does one wallet control?
If a handful of wallets hold most of the supply, they can end the coin whenever they choose. Concentration does not prove bad intent, but it measures exactly how much damage a single decision can do.
Wallet clusters
Are those wallets actually the same person?
Twenty wallets funded from one source are not twenty holders. Following the funding trail turns an apparently wide distribution back into what it really is, and it is the most common way concentration gets disguised.
Mint & freeze authority
Can more tokens appear, or can yours be frozen?
If mint authority is still open, the supply is not fixed. If freeze authority is open, your tokens can be made untradable. Both are visible on-chain and both are answered before you buy, not after.
Liquidity
Can you actually sell?
A price means nothing if there is nothing to sell into. Thin liquidity is how a chart can look healthy while any real exit crashes it.
Deployer history
What did this person launch before?
The wallet that created the coin has a public past. Coins launched, coins abandoned, coins that survived. Somebody on their fortieth dead launch is a different proposition from somebody on their first.
What it does not do
It does not predict price and it does not promise anyone is honest. A high score means the known warning signs are absent today; it cannot know what a person decides tomorrow. A low score is not an accusation either β a coin that launched a minute ago has few holders and little liquidity because it genuinely is early, and the number says so.
It is a heuristic built from public data. Its whole job is to remove the excuse of not knowing, and to move the check from after the loss to before the purchase.
Frequently asked questions
What is an Anti-Rug Score?
It is a single number, from 0 to 100, calculated from a coin's public on-chain data β how concentrated the holders are, whether their wallets share a funding source, whether mint and freeze authority are still open, how deep the liquidity is, and what the deployer has launched before. On Vaultex every coin gets one from the second it launches.
Does a high score mean a coin is safe?
No. A high score means the known warning signs are absent right now. It cannot tell you what someone will decide to do tomorrow, and it says nothing about whether a coin will hold its value. It removes guesswork about the past, not risk about the future.
Does a low score mean it is a scam?
No. A brand new coin naturally has few holders and thin liquidity, which reads as risk because at that moment it genuinely is riskier. The score describes what the chain shows, it does not accuse anyone.
How do I check if a Solana coin is a rug pull?
Look at the same things the score does: how much the top wallets hold, whether they were funded from one place, whether mint and freeze authority are revoked, how much real liquidity exists, and the deployer's previous launches. All of it is public. Vaultex's checker reads it for you in a few seconds, for any Solana token, free.
Can a score be faked?
Not by asking for it. It is computed from the chain, not submitted by the creator, and there is no application or payment that changes it. Supply can be spread across wallets to look less concentrated β which is precisely why cluster detection exists.
Does the score change over time?
Yes. It reflects the coin as it is now. Holders shift, liquidity moves, authorities get revoked β and the number moves with them.
